Partnerships are key to Innovate to solve water issue was a statement made by many stakeholders at the IWA Water and Development Congress in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Not for nothing Isle was invited to facilitate the IWA-Isle Innovation Hub on the exhibition floor and to be a judge in the Innovators Workshop at the conference. In both cases, the moderation was done by Isle’s UK Managing Director Ben Tam, and in both sessions, companies were allowed to present innovations that were aligned with solving the challenges of SDG6. An expert panel from organizations TU Delft, WaterAid, ENPHO, WRC, GSMA, PureTerra Ventures provided valuable feedback on the innovations presented during the innovation sessions.
During the Innovation sessions, WaterSpark was presented by Annelies Schenk. This impact initiative is a network powered infrastructure that creates awareness of global water problems and available solutions. It is build around three pillars: Invest – Enable Innovation – Awareness. We believe in working in collaboration. Together we can facilitate creation and rapid scaling of innovative water solutions that positively impact water availability, quality and security.
We powered the Innovation program of the IWA Water & Development congress to enable the innovations to be in Sri Lanka and increase their network and knowledge. Which will bring them a step closer to success.
